Leslie was born and raised in a small community in northern New York State, and received her BS of Physical Therapy at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. She has been practicing physical therapy since 1985 and is an Adjunct Associate with the University of Iowa Physical Therapy Graduate Program. Leslie enjoys working with patients of all ages, and teaching them how to recover from their injuries and conditions, and how to care for themselves over the long term, to allow them to enjoy their lives as much as possible. Leslie cares for patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions, and, also treats patients that have problems with dizziness/vertigo and/or balance issues.
Leslie also is involved in Mental Health Advocacy, is a board member with the Johnson County National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and teaches a signature NAMI program, “Family to Family.” She and her husband, Scott, have 2 children, Patrick and Emily. Leslie also enjoys walking, biking and kayaking during her spare time.
