Mikayla is originally from Fairfax, Iowa, and is excited to continue her career close to home in the Coralville area. She earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Kirkwood Community College and also received her B.A. in Athletic Training from the University of Northern Iowa in 2019. Her interest in physical therapy grew from a love of movement, rehabilitation, and connecting with people throughout their care. She enjoys helping patients regain confidence and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Outside of work, Mikayla enjoys staying active, exploring new places, spending time with friends and family, and, of course, dogs. Mikayla values genuine connections and enjoys creating a welcoming and positive environment.
