Ryan was born and raised in Wilton, Iowa, where he still resides with his family today. He began his academic and athletic journey at Kirkwood Community College, playing baseball for two years before continuing his education and baseball career at St. Ambrose University, where he also completed his Physical Therapy degree.

His passion for physical therapy began as a four-sport athlete who experienced therapy firsthand while recovering from sports-related injuries. Positive and quick recoveries, along with exposure to the profession through a family friend who owned an outpatient clinic, inspired Ryan to pursue a career helping others return to the activities they love.

Ryan has a strong passion for sports and specializes in treating athletes, particularly throwers and overhead athletes. He also enjoys working with patients experiencing cervical pain and headaches, as well as those with shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries.

Outside of the clinic, Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors, playing recreational sports, hiking, working out, and being with his family.
