A New Place to Call Home

A New Place to Call Home

Written by Scott Thoma, Partner, Clinic Manager, Tipton PRA

PRA has had it’s roots in the community of Tipton going back to 1991 when we opened an office in a portion of a small brick building on the west side of town.

1991 Clinic

As time went on, there was a need for additional staff and with that, a need for increased space.  In August of 2007, 16 years after opening it’s original clinic,  we moved to our downtown location where we have continued to serve the PT, OT, and SLP needs of the residents of Cedar County and beyond.

This past Friday, our Tipton office saw their final patient’s at our downtown location and started the move to our new state of the art facility on the southern edge of town.

Our new clinic, just over 2,500 square foot of wide open space, will not only allow for continued traditional PT, OT, and Speech Therapy services, but will also allow us to provide space for additional services; including massage therapy, wellness programs, and fitness classes for individuals of all ages and skill levels.

I for one, am proud to call this new building home.  The craftsmanship inside the building in incredible and the increased space will allow for us to provide a comprehensive program to serve the needs of the community from injury, to wellness, to individual fitness.  The photos of this new building do not do justice to just how perfect this new space is for PRA.  If you have a moment, stop on in and take a look around.  For information on upcoming events please give our office a call at 563-886-3421
